Copyediting
Copyediting is a vital source for getting your work on the right track. This step in the editorial process checks for:
- Grammar & spelling errors
- Voice, pace, inappropriate wording and drawn out sections of your work.

My copyediting service allows for two rounds of editing which are the initial copyedit and a final after revisions are made.
Services are $35/10 pages or $3.5/page (not to exceed 250 words/page). For a 60,000 manuscript the total comes out to about $840.
Developmental Editing
Developmental editing takes an in-depth look at your manuscript, focusing on aspects such as:
- Character relatability and character development
- Point of view
- Backstory
- Plot
- Tone
- Pacing
- Dialogue
- Structure
By having your work put through a development edit, you can ensure that you’re putting your best foot forward in the publishing and literary world.
My developmental edits include comments and notes within the manuscript and critiques.

The Full Editorial Package
If you’re looking for a complete edit of your manuscript from copyediting to consultations, then this editorial package is for you. The full package includes:
- Two rounds of copyediting–one after revisions are made
- Developmental editing with comments and notes in the manuscript
- Line edits that look at language use that aims to better both pacing and narrative tone
- 3 half-hour calls or unlimited emails with follow-up questions you may have
This package is only for full manuscripts. Estimates will be given upon evaluation of manuscript.
