Biography

Shania N Soler

Shania got her start in literary work in Pennsylvania when she was in elementary school. She’s been writing ever since.

She pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in English at the University of Maine where she studied under published and well-respected faculty. It’s here that she pursued more in-depth work in editorial.

During her freshman year, she became Editor-in-Chief for a small magazine on the platform, Wattpad. She managed a team of great writers and helped them hone their craft with each issue.

Shania passed on her role of Editor-in-Chief at the end of her freshman year and moved to Tokyo, Japan for a year, studying at Waseda University.

During this time, she took up work as a travel writer for the University of Maine’s campus magazine.

She graduated early from University with top honors and worked full time for the Office of International Programs as the Education Abroad Assistant.

From September 2022 to November 2022, she was part of the HarperCollins Author Academy where she learned from established authors and the publishing house about writing for children.

In her spare time, she is creating a literary magazine called Wayward Literature.

She is preparing to start her MA in English and currently interning at the Metamorphosis Literary Agency.
